A bit of information for those people asking about the 2018 Yorkshire Handicap, Please arrive in good time at the venue the event 1 starts at 10am Sunday 15th April 2018

DRESS CODE WILL STRICTLY BE ENFORCED !!

This means PANTS, SHOES, COLLAR T-SHIRT or LONG SLEEVED SHIRT only!! no shorts, trainers, jeans, training suits etc etc anyone new to a Yorkshire event and need clearer details please get in touch asap details found on POSTER

The draw for qualifying event 1 will be done on the day with matches commencing straight after in a roll on roll off manner.

Emails will be sent over the coming days to all players so keep an eye open for that arriving please.

Gareth Green {pictured right) is a potting machine as Bradford maintain their title fight

 

GARETH Green was at the double, as his two early frame wins paved the way for Bradford’s No 1 snooker side to record a vital 4-2 victory over Sheffield No 1 at Undercliffe Cricket Club in Division One of the Yorkshire Inter District League.

Green won both of his frames against Joe Markie, with the second including a fine clearance of 41.

Captain Kershaw clinches Bradford victory

BRADFORD’S billiards team won 8-7 against Huddersfield-2 at Milnsbridge Liberal Club. With just one match left to play they remain in second place in the league table, albeit six points adrift of leaders Huddersfield-1.

The first game of the night between Bradford’s Paul Devitt and Huddersfield’s Scott Lawton was largely uneventful, being settled by a fine 34 break from Devitt late in the game – the score of 200-177 putting Bradford 3-2 in front.

The second game started much more brightly with Bradford’s Steve Wilman and Martin Wood trading breaks of 32 and 36 within the first 50 points
