Bob Barnes
My grandad, Bob Barnes, passed away on 7th January 2022 peacefully at the BRI. He has been a member of Allerton Conservative Club since 1960, and played for the team up until roughly 2018, nearly 60 years playing for the same team! He was well known in the con league and in Allerton Catholic Club.
My family and I would like to invite anyone who would wish to pay their respects to the funeral service which will take place on Thursday 3rd February 2022 14:00 at Scholemoor Crematorium. A donation box will be at the service with proceeds going to the BRI as they took such good care of him in his last weeks.
While there is no formal dress code, I would encourage people to wear red and white, the colours of his beloved Sunderland FC.

Thank you John for sending me this i know many people knew Bob and would love to attend his funeral and pay their respects.
