Herewith Week 17 updates following last nights matches. There are still 5 teams who can mathematically win the snooker title next Tuesday, which makes a great climax to the season. Good luck to all teams next week.
I have made a change to the Pairs Billiards knockout in that the semi finals AND the final will be held next Wednesday at Great Horton PC Cricket Club. Apologies to Clayton Liberal Club who were originally going to host the final, but with the semi finals being played at the same time, then the final a week later both nights could easily be over in half an hour or so. I don’t think it worthwhile splitting it into 2 nights so next Wednesday will be a Finals Night with both semi finals and final being played – makes for a better night. Could ALL players be at the venue for 7.45pm with an 8pm start. Could I also ask that Great Horton Cricket provide markers for both semi finals and the final please.
Reminder that tonight is our first ever Team Aggregate Knockout Final at Great Horton Conservative Club between Clayton Rugby “A” and Clayton Cons “B”. 8pm start with all spectators welcome so hopefully see a few people there.
