Snooker with a twist

6redCue Gardens in Bradford have been holding a six-reds snooker competition every Monday evening around 19:30 start for a good few months now and they would like to encourage new faces to come and have a go, its snooker with a twist and enjoyable one too.

Rules are slightly different to snooker but not so much people should worry about, the only rule you need to know really other than normal snooker rules is that if a player makes a foul shot in any way his opponent can pick up the white ball and place it anywhere he pleases on the baize (ball in hand) other than that its snooker rules as normal with the exception of six reds instead of the normal fifteen.

Its £5 to enter with free table lights included, best of 5 racks/frames depending on entries is sometimes reduced to best of 3 and draw is of a knock-out basis so basically you win you progress to the next opponent you lose your out.

All entry fee’s are paid out in prizes, its a great atmosphere and a friendly bunch of players of all standards but don’t panic its Handicapped so although you have your ton break makers playing alongside your 20 break makers the handicap system evens the playing field making it as fair as possible.

Its already been proven that the handicap system works with a good mixture of winners from all standards already.

Normally there has been around 16 players every Monday which is a great show-up for a Monday evening

If interested in having a go then either call the club (details on poster) or just show up in good time and raise your interest at the bar and ask to speak to Kevin Dixon.
