To all Captains in all Competitions in the Conservative Games League.
During the past few weeks you may have noticed that the League Tables that normally appear on the website every Sunday have been rather spasmodic of late. This has got nothing whatsoever to do with Kevin Firth, who kindly loads all the information onto the website when I send it to him, but down to me.
During the course of the past 4 weeks I have been told that I have suffered some sort of heart attack and am currently in the care of some wonderful people at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Will all delegates please note, that the meeting arranged for Queensbury on Thursday 23rd October has subsequently been cancelled. The draws for the second round of all competitions will be done when I am feeling better than I am now.
This means that with the exception of the weekly league matches, the Con league is on hold
The League Matches will take place as normal and the results are still to be posted to Northcote as normal.
I hope that you will understand that my health is far more important than the Con League and that my well being is more important than 22 coloured balls on green covered slate.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible
