Clash of the titans in Snooker Pairs Final

Defending Pairs Champions Wayne Cooper and Kevin Firth (Undercliffe Cricket Club) take on Harold Club’s 4 time pairs champions Gareth and Anthony Green  in the Bradford Snooker Pairs Final at Great Horton Conservative Club this coming Saturday 11th May 2019. Cooper and Firth have won the title 6 times together, Cooper a total of 10 and Firth 7, and made the final with a first round win at Idle WMC against Chris Hegarty and Aidan Holroyd (3-1), Quarter Final success against  Josh Walker and Adam Tipper (3-2) and a 3-0 Semi Final victory at Fields Social Club against Dan Hale and Alan Wilson.  The Green brothers progressed through the competition with wins against Eddie Ratcliffe and Steve Moore at East Ward (3-0), Simon Jackson and Alan Austin (Eccleshill Vic Cons ) 3-2 and Clayton Libs duo Mark Slater and Jason Murgatroyd (3-1) The final is the best of 7 frames and will start at 7.30pm in what promises to be a fascinating encounter. Spectators are welcome at the club on Westcroft Road, Great Horton, which will be open from 7.00pm
