Will Cooper reach double figures?


THE final of the Bradford Snooker Championships takes place at Great Horton Conservative Club a week on Saturday, with two of the most dominant players in the district competing for the trophy.

Nine-time champion Wayne Cooper is looking to defend his title against four-time winner Gareth Green in the best-of-seven frame showpiece, which starts at 7.45pm.

Players have until Monday, August 1 to complete their matches.

* Any players wishing to take part in the Northern Snooker Centre Pro-Am in Leeds on Sunday must be there by 10.30am. The entry fee is £10.
