HEREWITH the final Group update for this season. Obviously, now we move onto the Cup and Shield Knockouts.
CUP KNOCKOUT FORMAT:
The 4 winners will play at home against the 4 Runners Up.
The Group Winner with the highest Final Score will play the Runner-Up with the Lowest Final Score
Where 2 teams from the same club are both drawn at home then the highest ranked team takes priority.
SHIELD KNOCKOUT FORMAT:
The 4 3rd placed teams will play at home against the 4 4th placed teams.
The 3rd placed team with the highest Final Score will play the 4th placed team with the Lowest Final Score
Where 2 teams from the same club are both drawn at home then the highest ranked team takes priority.
CUP: Because Undercliffe “A” are already at home then Undercliffe “B” must play away.
Because Wibsey “B” are at home in the cup and Queensbury “B” are at home in the shield, Queensbury “A” must play away.
I hope it all makes sense but because we have a few clubs with 2 teams, then only 1 team can play at home, which means a few higher ranked teams must play away.
