BILLIARDS and snooker turns the clock back on Saturday night with a double-header in the Yorkshire Inter-District League. Both of the senior Bradford teams are in action at Great Horton Conservative Club (7.30), with the billiards side facing title hopefuls Huddersfield No 1 and Bradford No 1’s snooker team meeting Leeds No 2.

BRADFORD’S two snooker sides had mixed results against the same opposition in the Yorkshire Inter-District League. The No 1 team had started the season slowly but enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Harrogate before Christmas and posted another 5-1 success at Leeds No 2 on Saturday.
