Yorkshire Snooker Doubles Champions – 2013

Well done to Undercliffe cricket clubs members Kevin & Wayne for wining the Yorkshire Snooker Pairs Championship.
In the first round at Northern Snooker Center in Leeds they beat defending 2012 champions Wayne Wootten & his partner 3-2.
The second round saw them beat 2011 champions and favourites Oliver Lines and Sanderson
Lam 3-1, two of the game’s biggest up and coming U21 players from England.
That got them through to the semi-final were they beat Shaun Wilks & Sean Parkes 3-0.
In the final they beat David Portman & Damian Anderson 3-1.
Portman is 2012 Yorkshire singles champ and also in the 2013 Yorkshire singles
final played at a later date against Oliver lines who was last year’s runner up too.
A magnificent triumph against some quality and hard opponents.
