The Shield Final was played at Thornton Conservative Club last night.

Fields beat Wibsey Libs 5-4. Frames were 4-4 with Fields edging the aggregate.

There are still a few Teams who haven’t collected their winnings, which they must now do by attending the Cup Final next Tuesday at Wibsey Liberal Club.

Could I remind players from Eccleshill Victoria and Owlett Hall to be at Wibsey for 7.30pm and that the dress code is smart casual with no shorts or jeans to be worn and a shirt with a collar.

Hope to see you all there next Tuesday, 7.45pm start.

Herewith Week 12 update.

Congratulations to the 4 teams who have reached the finals.

The Shield Final will be at Thornton Conservative Club between Wibsey Liberal B and Fields B next Tuesday 20^th August. Could I ask both teams to be at the venue for 7.30pm looking for a 7.45pm start.

Could I remind all teams that they have prize money to collect at one of the above finals. These winnings will only be presented on these 2 nights and failure to have representation at one of the finals means no prize money will be awarded. So please show respect for the 4 teams who have made this years finals and come along and support 1 if not both events.

Finally thanks to all teams who have taken part, hopefully you have all enjoyed the season and will be taking part again next year.

Herewith Week 11 Update, first week of the knockout stages.
Fixtures for next week’s semi-finals are on the update, and can you please remember that player match-ups are in order of handicap only (lowest against lowest, highest against highest etc). The away team captain does not get to choose opponents players.
Also I have pencilled in Thornton Conservative Club to host the Shield Knockout Final on Tuesday 20th August, and I am just waiting for confirmation that Wibsey Liberal Club can host the Cup Knockout Final on Tuesday 27th August.
I can also remind you all that every team has some money to come back, but as are the rules someone must represent your team/club on one of the finals nights to receive these winnings, otherwise your money goes into the pot for next season.
