The 2023 Heys Trophy Final was held @ Eccleshill Victoria between Harold Club B & Undercliffe Cc A in a fairly one-sided Final.

BRADFORD No 1 suffered a surprise 4-2 defeat to Division One rivals Harrogate in their latest Yorkshire Inter-District League match at Undercliffe Cricket Club.
Gyles Behbood started well for the visitors, a break of 69 enough to take the first frame 74-19 against Wayne Cooper and backing this up with a run of 43 for a 73-14 success.
Andy Blamire played some solid snooker against Kevin Firth and took the third frame 71-42 to put Harrogate 3-0 in front, before Firth pulled one back with a 37 break as he took frame four 64-1.

BRADFORD maintained their fantastic form in the Yorkshire Inter-District Billiards League with another 5-2 victory – this time against Huddersfield No 2 at Great Horton Cricket Club.
In an absorbing first game, Paul Devitt did most of the early scoring before Huddersfield opponent Julian Hodge produced a break of 68 to lead 102-69.
Aided by a run of 32, Devitt made it 160-160 and both players then missed chances to close out the game before Hodge triumphed 200- 189.

The draws for the next round of Individual / Pairs knockouts were made last night and can be viewed online
HERE. I have attached the draws so please remind your players the deadline date is Sunday 1st March.

Also we currently have 7 entries for the Moorhouse Shield. The closing date for entries has been extended so could I please ask that you get a team together and enter this competition. I will be speaking to a few of you when I see you over the next couple of weeks, hoping to talk you round !!!

2 billiards matches were cancelled this week and these are to be re-arranged hopefully within the next two weeks.
