Wilman holds nerve to seal billiards win for Bradford
Right on Cue
BRADFORD’S billiards team got their Yorkshire Inter-District League season off to a positive opening with a 5-2 success at Huddersfield No 2.
John Ingleby gave Huddersfield a flying start with a break of 54 and, after Paul Devitt had pulled most of the points back, added a further break of 41.
At this point the host player looked to be heading for a big win but Devitt hit back strongly late in the game with a 34 break of his own and only missed out by 200-182.

Conservative League *PLEASE READ*
Following the message that was posted on the site regarding the postponed matches on the day of Derek’s funeral 28th October. There was a statement that read you had 6 weeks to play the postponed matches. This is incorrect.
General Rule No 10 of our Rule Book Reads.
Postponed Matches.
Any match postponed for any reason must be played within 28 days of the original date. No reserve may play in the re-arranged fixture if they have already played in the original fixture week in the League Handbook.
In other words you have until 25th November to play ALL the postponed matches.

Cooper sets the tone in convincing win for Bradford No 1
BRADFORD No 1 continued their good start to the season in the Yorkshire Inter-District Snooker League with a 5-1 success at Harrogate.
The defending Division One champions were soon into their stride, Wayne Cooper making a break of 51 in the first frame in a 60-27 win against Chris Scott, while in the second he made breaks of 51 and 41 in a 92-15 triumph to put the visitors two up.
