The 2023 Heys Trophy Final was held @ Eccleshill Victoria between Harold Club B & Undercliffe Cc A in a fairly one-sided Final.

Herewith the League updates for Week 28.
Please also note that next Wednesday 28th March is the Domino Finals Night at Clayton Conservative Club. Closing time for entries will be 7.45pm so please could I ask that you all try and get as many pairs to Clayton Cons before 7.45pm to enter this season’s competition. Entry Fee is £5.00 per pair the same as last year, payable on the night when entering.
Today was the funeral of Dave Saxton (Chapel Green Libs). On behalf of myself and the South Bradford League I hope everything went smoothly and he had a great send off. Condolences to Dave’s family and friends and all at Chapel Green.

Former Yorkshire Snooker Handicap winner Josh Walker is through to the semi-finals of the Bradford Snooker Championships, also making the highest competition break so far of 80
The semi-final line-up has now been completed in the Bradford Snooker Championships, with Lewis Walsh and Josh Walker joining four-time champion Gareth Green and Stefan Risidi in the last four.
Walsh overcame a determined Chris Hegarty 4-2, while Walker got the better of Bradford team-mate Anthony Green 4-1, also making the competition’s highest break to date of 80.
The draw has yet to be made for the semi-finals.
It was due to take place at Bradford’s match last Sunday, but this was postponed due to bad weather.

Its time to think about the Summer Snooker 2018 Competition.

Kevin Firth and Wayne Cooper have another pairs title in their sights
WAYNE Cooper and Kevin Firth are just one win away from a sixth Bradford Snooker Championship pairs title together.
The duo reached yet another final after a 3-0 victory over defending champions Gareth and Anthony Green.
Cooper has already won the event a total of nine times, while Firth has six titles to his credit.

Following the completion of the cancelled Billiards and Domino matches I have HERE an up to date League table showing the Billiards and Domino standings as they are before tonight’s final matches.
Mathematically 5 teams can still win the Billiards Title, and surprisingly Great Horton Cons A are still in with a chance of catching Queensbury for the Domino Title.
Good luck to all teams involved in the race tonight.
