BRADFORD’S snooker team have won the UK Snooker League title after a classic final against Huddersfield.
The five-man Bradford team, whose players ended the weekend ranked one to five overall individually, gave an impressive all-round performance at Leeds’ Northern Snooker Centre.
However, Bradford, who were runners-up two seasons ago, didn’t have things all their own way in the 16-team invitational competition, although they were dominant in the group stages.

UNDERCLIFFE Cricket Club’s Sonny Sandhu is the new Bradford Snooker Handicap champion,winning an entertaining final against Craig Davies (Tong Liberal) at Eccleshill Victoria Conservative Club.
Sandhu won a tense first frame 65-48, and the next two were shared 71-38, with the help of a snooker on the brown and a 22 clearance by Sandhu, Davies replying in the third 64-38 to make it 2-1.

Herewith results and updated tables after week 11 of this season
As yet I haven’t received any results from the individual or pairs knockouts which suggests NONE have been played which is a bit alarming. Could you tell your players that the WINNER of each match needs to text me the result so that I can keep up to date with how we are progressing.

Josh Walker wrapped up overall victory for Bradford No 1 against Sheffield No 2
BRADFORD No 1 continued the season in fine form with an excellent 5-1 victory against Sheffield No 2 at Undercliffe Cricket Club and now share top spot in Division One of the Yorkshire Inter-District League with Leeds.
Wayne Wootton started well for Sheffield, taking the first frame 66-22, but Anthony Green composed himself well and levelled with a 72-33 success.
Gareth Green then put Bradford 3-1 up with two solid frames against Dave Ford, winning the first 71-16 and the second 82-17, which included a break of 66.
