Peter Hamilton takes two frames for Bradford no2
BRADFORD’S snooker teams remain unbeaten in the Yorkshire Inter-District League after both sides drew last weekend.
Division One defending champions Bradford No 1 opened up a 3-0 lead against Ossett No 1 at Undercliffe Cricket Club, only for the visitors to mount a spirited fightback.
Yorkshire and Bradford champion Wayne Cooper was solid throughout his match with Mike Wilby, winning 80-26 and 74-30, after which Kevin Firth made two breaks of 33 to beat Matthew Samples 91-20.

Herewith the updates for Week 7.
Could you please also keep reminding players entered in the Knockouts that it is BOTH players responsibility to arrange the matches, not just the Home player. If these games are not arranged, played and the result sent to me by 11pm on the closing date advised, and neither player has contacted me to say they are having a problem, then BOTH players will be scratched from the competition. This way is only fair for the rest of the competitors who have arranged and played their matches.
Any problems then please give me a shout.

Yorkshire Inter-District League round-up
BRADFORD’S billiards team got their Yorkshire Inter-District League season off to a good start with a 5-2 victory at Huddersfield No 2.
Paul Devitt was first to get away in his clash with Huddersfield captain John Ingleby, making a break of 45 for a 76-62 lead.
But with both players exercising considerable caution, highlights were in short supply and it was Ingleby who eventually saw out the game 200-145.
Steve Wilman led from start to finish against an out-of-sorts Julian Hodge and restored parity for Bradford with an excellent 200-135 victory.
Jezz Ford and Bradford captain Stephen Kershaw then traded 30 breaks early in the final game before two more similar runs from the Bradford player saw him establish a lead which was never challenged and his 200-125 success saw Bradford to a 5-2 overall win.
