East Ward B, who defeated Salthorn WMC 8-0 to win the Hey’s Trophy team snooker competition
EAST Ward B lifted the Hey’s Trophy for Bradford snooker teams, winning all eight frames in the final against Salthorn WMC at Eccleshill Victoria Conservative Club.
The victors, playing off a team handicap of 225, were giving a 125 start and won the match 818-644.
Danny Peel beat Andy Stirk 60-54, 82-38, with Paul Storey winning 69-37 and 80-29 against Chris Simmonds.

MARK Ball became Bradford Snooker champion for the first time after defeating Eccleshill Victoria Conservative Club team-mate Howard Mawson 4-3 in the final at Great Horton Conservative Club on Saturday.
This was always likely to be a tight affair, and so it proved as 2004 winner Mawson won a nervy opening frame 51-29.
Ball then got into the swing of things with a frame-winning break of 69 to level with an 88-0 success, and then went in front courtesy of winning frame three by 63-28.

Howard Mawson has emerged from a tough half of the draw to reach the Bradford Snooker Championship final
THE Bradford Snooker Championship final takes place at Great Horton Conservative Club on Saturday, with 2004 champion Howard Mawson taking on Eccleshill Victoria Cons team-mate Mark Ball in the best-of-seven frame match (7.45pm).
Mawson has had a particular tough route to the final, beating former finalists Anthony Green in the preliminary round and Dave Stirk in the first round, both by a score of 4-1.
Ball started the competition well, making a 131 clearance in the deciding frame of his first-round match to edge out Stefan Risidi 4-3.
Mawson saw off Chris Tolson 4-1 in the second round, while Ball defeated Simon Jackson 4-0. Then in the quarter-finals, Mawson faced four-time champion Gareth Green and Ball took on up-and-coming youngster Russell Morgan.

Hi Guys
Herewith the Rules, Registered Players & Fixtures for this seasons Summer Snooker League. It has taken me quite a while to get to this stage following the draw at last weeks South Bradford Delegates Meeting, as there are a number of clubs who have 2 teams entered so one has to be at home and the other away wherever possible.
